Embedded Capacity Planning Methodology

EPV trend reports provide all the information needed to complete a capacity planning study even in complex environments.

EPV also provides a set of powerful indices which enable customers to estimate a new application’s resource requirements even if it is in an early development stage and no measurements are possible. Customers can use EPV indices to estimate the requirements of each resource type (CPU, memory, I/O, disk space) when only one of them is known.

This has resulted in a more than 50% reduction in the time taken to complete a capacity planning study at many sites.
